You’ve come a long way baby February 21, 2008

Filed under: family — seamstress mama @ 11:34 am

Each year at Trevor’s birthday, there is a time of reflection. Thinking about the circumstances surrounding his birth always brings many emotions. It was a time of joy at the arrival of our new baby, but also grief and anxiety at the road we knew was ahead for him and for us. What a remarkable transformation in four short years.  I think we can finally look back and just smile… we made it through and Trevor has done just fine.  Sometimes during the hard times in life you don’t feel like you will ever make it through. But you do, and then years later you can look back and smile.

On Trevor’s birthday mother and I looked through his birth pictures and marveled at our precious little boy. His strength and enthusiasm for life were developed from loving parents and family and a phenomenal doctor who encouraged and crafted a beautiful smile for Trev.

    Love,
    Mom
